This is what used to be here, a flower and veggie garden.
This is another view of the future location, with me spending some hard earned relaxation time. I bought that hammock for myself for my retirement from my civil engineering job back in 2010. One of the best purchases I ever made.
This is the view shortly before construction began. This was in March before most of the flowers started to grow. All that had to come out. Sigh!!!
Construction began at about 1:00 PM
Just two hours later.
Add another four hours.
They stopped at 8:30 PM, started up again at 9:00 AM the next day and were done at 10:00 AM. Now I get to enjoy it and fill my 10x16 foot shed up with STUFF.
I won't show you everything but there are a few features I really like worth mentioning. Windows on three sides and the double doors mean good ventilation and ease in getting large objects in and out. In the middle of the room is a 4x5 work bench. You can see a pulley system in the middle of the table. This can be removed to have the full table accessible. However, when I need a larger workspace, I can pull the cord near the door and lift the table to the ceiling to get it out of the way. The legs are removable so they are not in the way at all. There are electrical outlets underneath the table at each end as well. You can also see a storage ledge above the two windows. There is another one at the other end of the room.
The other item I want to point out is shown in the bottom right corner of the picture and I'll describe that next.
First, you can see a metal storage shelf to the left of this image. I have four of them in the shed for lots of storage, but this one is special. It has sort of a book system attached to the end of it. There are five pages in the book that open up and each has a pegboard for hanging tools. This shows the first page.
This picture shows the last page. Each page has similar tools so they are all easy to locate.
