During the college women's volleyball season, I am kept pretty busy with my RichKern.com site. However, once the season is over and I have all my end-of-year database tables updated and documentation completed, I have a lot of spare time. I fill that with working on my many flower gardens, table tennis, pickleball, travel, birding AND creating "Weird Art?".

This all began as just a hobby I started several years ago to keep me out of trouble. I hesitate to call it "art" because it is not actually very good when you look at it up close. But viewed from a distance like it is supposed to be, it adds a fun whimsical visit to my yard. In fact, it has become quite a tourist attraction. Many people driving and walking by have stopped to tour and take pictures. There is a grade school near here and one of the buses takes a tour periodically for the kids to see what is available. We refer to them as "tourists"
